Srinagar, Nov 17: Education can play a great part in stability and
enhancement of peace. This, as per an official handout, was stated by Inspector
General of Police, Kashmir, SM Sahai at Kashmir University Saturday. The IGP was
the Chief Guest on the Annual Day celebrations of Dolphine International School,
Pulwama in collaboration with an NGO Kashmir Creative Environment Foundation at
Convocation Hall of KU. In his address to the participants who included
students, parents and faculties of various institutions, the IGP said that
alongside the urban, the rural schools were also doing better. The quality of
education of the institutes in various rural districts has improved. “Many
institutes have come up providing quality education, as has been seen in the
merit list of Competitive Exams both at state, and national levels. The students
from rural areas are doing remarkably well,” the IGP maintained. The IGP also
distributed mementos and certificates among the meritorious students and
teachers on the occasion. |
